Sintering annular cooler is one of the main equipment in the metallurgical sintering process. It is used to cool the hot sinter discharged from the sintering machine and recover the waste heat, so as to finally make the ore reach the temperature suitable for transportation.

3.Product Introduction
The new generation of water-sealed blast annular cooler (520 ㎡ multifunctional high-efficiency sintering annular cooler) produced by NHI has been officially put into use in Phase-II sintering project of Lianfeng Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. in May 2015. Until now its structural stability, sealing effect, waste heat recovery efficiency and cooling efficiency have greatly exceeded old blast annular cooler.
In 2020, NHI independently developed a new type of high-quality and efficient sintering annular cooler. Through technical innovation of pallet car structure, sealing unit, cover assembly, transmission unit, etc., the structural performance of the sintering annular cooler has made a qualitative leap. It has the characteristics of simple structure, reliable performance, easy operation, convenient maintenance, safe use, low air leakage rate, good working environment, and low fan energy consumption.
Waste gas from sintering annular cooler can be used for waste heat power generation or hot air sintering to achieve zero emission.

5.Technical characteristics
(1) Optimized pallet car structure
Pallet car assembly adopts the upper and lower split assembly structure, which is convenient for on-site installation and disassembly and maintenance.
(2) Optimized mechanical sealing unit
A new floating mechanical seal unit has been developed, which can realize external maintenance and solve the problems of traditional mechanical seal maintenance and safety of maintenance personnel. The air leakage rate is less than 10%. This technology has been applied to Tangshan Ganglu and Jinan Iron and Steel Annular cooler Project.
(3) Improved new joint sealing unit
A new combined sealing unit has overcome the shortcomings of high air leakage rate of mechanical seal structure and high pressure of liquid seal structure water tank to remove silt. The sealing effect is also more guaranteed. The air leakage rate is less than 5%. It has been applied to the annular cooler project of Anyang Iron and Steel Group Xinyang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.
(4) Optimized cover assembly structure
A new thermal insulation cover structure makes the waste heat recovery airflow smoother and improves the waste heat recovery rate.
(5) Optimized structure of reset roll
Structure of the reset roll is optimized to make the roll surface fully contact with the lower surface of pallet, and the bearing force of the shaft is more reasonable.
(6) Pin-tooth drive with compensation function
Transmission unit equipped with compensation function can better contact the sprocket and chain, and has been applied to the project of Jinan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.
