Northern Heavy Industries Group Co.,Ltd.(“NHI” for short) is a large multinational heavy machinery manufacturing company under Liaoning Fangda Group Industries Co.,Ltd.(“Fangda Group” for short).NHI has a long history and a large number of talents. It plays a very important role in both international and domestic heavy machinery manufacturing industries，and well known as “The Cradle of China Heavy Machinery Industries.” Its products cover the global market. After successful merger and acquisition of the world famous French Tunnel Boring Equipment Design and Manufacturing Company and Denmark FLSmidth company (FLSmidth A/S) to establish a joint venture to realize the transnational business.
On April 30th 2019, following the spirit of the CPC Central Committee on promoting the revitalization of Northeast China and deepening the reform of state-owned enterprises, and under the right guidance and promotion by Party Committee and Municipal Government of Liaoning and Shenyang, NHI successfully completed the judicial restructuring and mixed ownership reform. Liaoning Fangda Group officially became the largest shareholder of NHI, which marks a new era of development for NHI.
NHI’s main products include tunnel engineering equipment, mining equipment, metallurgy equipment, bulk material handling equipment, coal machinery, electric power equipment, building material equipment,oil fracturing equipment, environmental protection equipment, modern construction equipment, forging equipment, transmission machinery, automobile electrical appliances as well as EPC equipment.
NHI has complete facilities for design, test, inspection and measurement. It has 119 patented technologies, with more than 200 new products filling the national gap, and over 100 products or technologies have won national science and technology awards at all levels. NHI is a national technological innovation demonstration enterprise with a national technology center, National Key Laboratory for full-section tunnel boring machines, academician workstation and postdoctoral workstation.
