Northern Heavy Industry Organization conducts fire emergency evacuation plan drills
In order to effectively improve the construction of the "four capabilities" for fire safety, comprehensively construct the "firewall" project, and further enhance the emergency response ability and personnel evacuation ability of employees, Northern Heavy Industry conducted a fire extinguishing and emergency evacuation plan drill for the R&D building at 11:30 am on February 6, 2024.
The drill will be conducted on the 7th, 8th, and 9th floors of the company's R&D building. Assuming that an employee on the seventh floor of the R&D building passed by the clean room 9716 on the northeast side and found a fire on the power supply, thick smoke was emitted indoors, and flames were seen spreading westward. The comrade immediately dialed the fire alarm number 67859119 in the factory area to report to the police, and explained the location and situation of the fire to the security personnel.
After receiving the alarm, the security personnel immediately reported the fire to the production command center and requested the activation of the fire extinguishing and emergency evacuation plan in the factory area. At the same time, all personnel of the micro fire station formed the first firefighting force, went to the scene of the "fire" to extinguish the fire, and promptly notified the electrician of the equipment kinetic energy service department to cut off the power supply of the fire area
According to the plan, establish a temporary command center on site, and the commander will immediately activate the emergency plan and issue instructions to each action group. After the first firefighting force arrived at the scene, they immediately used the fire hydrant on the north wall of the seventh floor to lay a water gun position and control the spreading fire. The leader of the fire extinguishing team requested instructions from the overall commander to immediately evacuate personnel from the seventh, eighth, and ninth floors. After the overall commander issued the evacuation order, the communication and liaison team leader immediately notified the evacuation guidance team leader to evacuate the employees on the seventh, eighth, and ninth floors to a safe location and gather.
Imagine that during the process of extinguishing a fire, an employee suddenly fainted due to inhaling harmful gases. The firefighting action team immediately sought instructions from the commander, and the communication and contact team immediately dialed 120 to contact the ambulance and prepare for transfer to the hospital for treatment. At the same time, the commander's order was conveyed to the safety rescue team, requiring them to quickly reach the seventh floor, transfer the injured to a safe area for rescue, and carry out firefighting, emergency rescue, and evacuation work in an orderly manner.
Zhang Yifei, the overall commander of the drill and the vice president of the company, commented on the drill. He said that this drill mainly tests our emergency response ability and personnel evacuation ability when encountering a fire. One is to extinguish the fire, report the fire to the police in a timely manner, and control and extinguish the fire in a timely manner. The second is evacuation. In the event of a fire, personnel should be promptly and quickly evacuated to a safe place. The third is the scientific rationality, operability, and effectiveness of the contingency plan, which directly affects whether the initial fire can be extinguished in the first time and the fire losses can be controlled to the minimum. I hope that through the drill, each and every one of us can raise our awareness of fire safety, and actively promote it to colleagues, friends, and family around us to learn fire safety knowledge together.
